Klementyna Suchanow is one of the initiators of the International Women’s Strike in Poland. In last years, she was active among pro-democratic protestors in Poland. She’s the author of four books. Her last one This is war. Women. Fundamentalists and the new Middle Ages is the result of a two-year-long investigation of the network of radical anti-abortion and anti-human rights actors (especially in Europe, USA, Latin America and Russia). The second component of the book is the history of the recent feminist protests in the world and is partially an activist’s memoir.
