Jean-Baptiste Fressoz is a historian of science, technology, and the environment at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique in Paris. His books include The Shock of the Anthropocene (with Christophe Bonneuil), Chaos in the Heavens (with Fabien Locher) and Sans Transition (in French). His forthcoming book More and More and More: An All-Consuming History of Energy will be out in October 2024.
